About the Author

Carlo Parsons ditched his lucrative career in Silicon Valley so that he can help coaches and experts come out of their business closet, curate their experiences and wisdom, find their audience, make money, and just like he is doing now, be able to live their purpose and still take good care of those they hold dear. He is also on the Advisory Board for Book Yourself Solid® and enjoys teaching entrepreneurs how to win clients over, using your biggest asset—YOU!

Qn 1: Can you tell us more about your book What is it about?

This book is about making it a mission to find the people you are meant to serve, how you can easily build trust and credibility within your market, and a non-sleazy way of promoting yourself and your business.

Qn 2: Who do you think would be interested in this book, is it directed at any particular market?

This book is particularly helpful for coaches, experts, and service providers–especially if they work in the personal development industry– who are uncomfortable with the idea of marketing and sales, or who are overwhelmed by all the things they think they need to do in order to book more clients. All that can be simplified!

Qn 3: Out of all the books in the world, and all the authors, which are your favourite and why?

Eckhart Tolle – Power of Now – the transformation from this book for me was life-chaning and started my coaching career

Start with No – Jim Camp – As someone who was traditionally trained to always be closing in sales, and to go for a “win-win” outcome, this book way eye-opening for me.

Book Yourself Solid – Michael Port – reframed the way I saw marketing and made me more effective and fulfilled as a heart-centred entrepreneur

Qn 4: What guidance would you offer to someone new, or trying to enhance their writing?

– Write about what you know, keep it simple, and validate by sharing bits with people you trust.

– Stop layering on the academics! Balance content with CONTEXT. People also care to know how and why you got to where you are, not just the theories and the smart stuff you know.

Qn 5: Where can our readers find out more about you, do you have a website, or a way to be contacted?

www.carloparsons.com and I’m @coachcarlo (https://www.joinclubhouse.com/@coachcarlo) on Clubhouse where I host regular talks in my club, The heart-centred Hustle (https://www.joinclubhouse.com/club/the-heart-centered-h)
