About the Author

J.V. Gabasa is a student by day and a Wattpad writer by night. He loves to come up with stories that hook the audience, and really likes sharing those ideas with the world. He is also a debater, actor, and most of all a funny person to be around, but even with all those wonderful things said, he still can’t replace bonding with family, and when he’s not in school and writing in Wattpad he loves reading books for his spare time.

Qn 1: Can you tell us more about your book, King of Glass, What is it about?

King of Glass is a trilogy retelling of Snow White, and what happened after a true love’s kiss ended the Slumber Curse.
It follows a brave hero named Ray Prisma, who lived a humble life never thinking he could wield certain magical powers. But one faithful night changes the course of what he has known, and saving the fate of the kingdom might rest on his hands.

Qn 2: Who do you think would be interested in this book, King of Glass, is it directed at any particular market?

It’s YA (Young Adult) Genre, it targets readers who love a twist on classic fairytales, and love myths like the Arthurian Legends. I want teens to read these books, and put a smile on their faces that’s what makes me proud as an author.

Qn 3: Out of all the books in the world, and all the authors, which are your favourite and why?

Kiera Cass is my favorite, and I’m a big fan of the Selection Series. I love a good romance and especially dystopian; Marissa Meyer who also writes retellings is also on top of my list. So sign me up if you have stories like that, and you want the world to read them.

Qn 4: What guidance would you offer to someone new, or trying to enhance their writing?

Always explore new things because you might never know when an idea might come. and fix your grammar always check the spelling and punctuation. You want your book to be nice and polished when you present it to people.
