Little Elijah loves football and dreams of being the school team champion. He is disappointed when the coach refuses to put him on the school team because he’s too young to play. Follow Elijah on his journey and discover how he convinces everyone that he can achieve his dreams.
About the Author
Jordin McFee is nine years old, and he lives in San Antonio, TX, along with his mother. He was born in Mobile, AL moved to San Antonio, TX at the age of four. He is currently in the 4th grade and very passionate about reading and writing. His favourite books include The Dog Man series by Dav Pilkey. Jordin hopes to inspire other children to enjoy reading by expressing himself through his first book. He also loves exploring the world of science and math. He challenges himself by learning to read and speak Spanish fluently as a second language.
Qn 1: Can you tell us more about your book What is it about?
It’s about a little boy named Elijah trying to fulfil his dreams of being on the school’s football team but is too little to play.
Qn 2: Who do you think would be interested in this book, is it directed at any particular market?
Children of all ages.
Qn 3: Out of all the books in the world, and all the authors, which are your favourite and why?
The Dog Man series by Dav Pilkey. The author has such an amazing imagination and the stories are all relatable. I love the author Dave Pilkey because we both have ADHD, and he motivates me to write books.

Start where you are! Just do it!
