Qn 1: Can you tell us more about your book What is it about?

Here is a synopsis of my book.

How often have women, especially moms, felt undervalued? How many women out there have a dream but always hesitated to take that first step or put it off for another time? How many women have self-doubt about their ability to follow their hearts? I can tell you there are countless of us out there.

That’s why I wrote this book. I asked a few close friends if they would be willing to share some of their inspiring stories about their challenges, trauma, and fears. They were happy to do it. Inside you will read about some incredible women who opened up their hearts to inspire and encourage you.

Our goal is to help you build your confidence, courage, and strength. To believe in yourself. We want you to transform from feeling unappreciated to super valued and worthy. We want to help you move forward instead of hesitating and regret it later in life. We want you to see that you have it in you to do whatever you want in life.

The stories you’ll read will resonate with many of you, if not all. They touch on suicide, runaways, suffering, cancer, pregnancy, and role models. Ladies, it’s your platform! It’s time to step up on that stage. It’s up to you to take that leap to become the amazing you!

Qn 2: Who do you think would be interested in this book, is it directed at any particular market?

Women and Mothers who have low self-esteem, self-doubt about their abilities to follow their dream. Women who face challenges and feel there is no way out.

Qn 3: Out of all the books in the world, and all the authors, which are your favourite and why?

She Means Business, by Carrie Green – In her story she is so genuine and shows her vulnerability. She speaks about her fears and self doubts she has had about following her dream. However, she tossed that to the curb and pursued it. She is now a millionaire with an amazing membership group that helps so many women. start a business of her own.

The Secret by Rhonda Byrne was a real awakening for me, as it not only helped me to appreciate what I already have, it also helped me to visualize my dreams.

The Go Giver by Bob Burg and John David Mann. This book is geared towards business people and entrepreneurs. It tells the tale of an ambitious young man who learns to live by a creed of giving rather than getting with unexpected personal rewards.

Believe by Jamie Kern Lima, She’s another inspiration and someone that never gave up. She is the CEO of IT Cosmetics. She had a dream, a mission and no matter how many times her product was rejected or the reason why, she never stopped.

Qn 4: What guidance would you offer to someone new, or trying to enhance their writing?

The first thing I would encourage women to do is to start writing out everything they feel negative about, not only themselves but the environment they are in.

Next, I would tell them to start writing on a new sheet of paper positive comments that are total opposites of the negative ones they have just written. For example Negative comment – Why I can’t I lose weight, this is so discouraging. Flip that comment around to a positive one – I know I can do this. I will and I am losing weight.

Once that is completed I would ask them to take the negative sheet of paper and shred it, burn it (int the sink) LOL! Get rid of all the bad thoughts, things and feelings.

Next step I would have them declutter their home. Start with one room at a time. This helps a lot. Having an organized area, desk, room, closet or home helps you think clearer, get rid of negative emotions. I have a podcast that covers that. https://itsyourplatform.libsyn.com/website/why-decluttering-your-home-helps-with-negative-emotions

Another step is to get a journal and start rewriting your story. For example, You are always down on yourself, nothing ever works out for you. Instead of thinking of all the negative thoughts write down where you see yourself in a year. After you completed it I would have them start from the beginning and pull out everything they need to do to get to where they want to be and create goals out of them and then set a schedule when each one will be completed. Here is a quote that I truly believe in. “Where ever Focus Flows Energy Flow” – Tony Robbins
