About the Author
Ali R. Jaber (born April 7, 1993), popularly known as Pride of Lebanon, is a Lebanese American author, writer, and motivational speaker based in Michigan, the United States. Born in Toledo, Ohio, the United States, the Jaber family originated in Nabatieh, Southern Lebanon. Jaber studied at Henry Ford College majoring in business administration and digital marketing. He has been a member of The National Society of Leadership and Success and Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society. Jaber is the author and writer of the book ‘Public Speaking: Motivational Speeches In Depth’.
Qn 1: Can you tell us more about your book, Public Speaking: Motivational Speeches In Depth, What is it about?
I wrote my book with intention of giving the world the best public speaking secrets and strategies. I want upcoming speakers to understand the secrets of this industry and I also want to give the general public an idea of what it takes to become a successful speaker.
Qn 2: Who do you think would be interested in this book, Public Speaking: Motivational Speeches In Depth, is it directed at any particular market?
I believe anyone who is interested in public speaking and motivational speaking would be interested in this book. I wrote the book in a simple and understandable way making sure that even people who have no speaking skills could also benefit from my book. As a Lebanese motivational speaker with thousands of followers on social media, I feel as I can genuinely benefit other speakers by sharing my experience in the industry.
Qn 3: Out of all the books in the world, and all the authors, which are your favourite and why?
My absolute favorite author of all time is Kahlil Gibran. I can relate to Kahlil Gibran because we are both Lebanese American authors. Mr. Gibran also wrote one of the best-selling books of all time, titled “The Prophet.” Being a Lebanese American author can be difficult as we are a minority. It takes a lot of dedication to reach high levels of success in the wiring community and Kahlil Gibran reached the absolute ultimate level of success as an author.
Qn 4: What guidance would you offer to someone new, or trying to enhance their writing?
I would tell anyone who wants to enhance their writing to always ask questions. Never be afraid of sharing your ideas with the world as it only takes one idea for you to become a best-selling author. I would also advise to make connections in the writing community and attend speaking engagements. As writers, we can always learn something new by interacting with other writers.

Qn 6: As one of the most famous Lebanese authors, what advice can you give to the people of Lebanon?
I would advise the Lebanese people to stay motivated and to never give up. I understand that Lebanon’s national currency is collapsing, however, this should not discourage the Lebanese people from pursuing their goals. It is the difficult situations in life that help us grow and we must take advantage of the learning process that comes from experiencing extremely difficult situations. I see a prosperous Lebanon ahead and I hope that everything will get better for Lebanon and for the Lebanese people.
Qn 7: Motivational speaking is not yet that popular in Lebanon, as one of the top Lebanese motivational speakers, what advice could you give to upcoming Lebanese speakers?
I would advise anyone from Lebanon or outside of Lebanon who is interested in becoming a successful motivational speaker to keep trying and never give up, nothing comes easily in life and our dedication determines the outcome of our success.
Qn 8: Nabih Berri is the most famous Lebanese speaker, how does Ali R. Jaber relate to Berri?
Nabih Berri is a respected individual in Lebanon. I believe he reached this ultimate level of speaking success by trying hard and never giving up.
