Sin azúcar: Reflexiones antes de la medianoche (Spanish Edition)

About the Book

This book brings together different conferences in which its authors reflect from the distance of the years on the world to come, from American culture and geopolitics to the real threat of a climate catastrophe and the extinction of the human species.

This book brings together several lectures by the renowned MIT linguist, Noam Chomsky, and the Uruguayan writer Jorge Majfud. Majfud’s texts were published in the year 2001, which predict the situation in the world today: that is, a West surrounded by its own monsters, not by “foreign enemies”. For his part, Chomsky, in various conferences in 2008 and 2009, warns of the dangers of imperialism and the extinction of humanity. This book also includes an extensive conversation between Chomsky and Majfud about the problems that plague the world today.
