About the Author
While I am a healthcare worker, I’ve always enjoyed writing poetry. I also enjoy the outdoors and watching a good movie.
I am a mother of a teenage daughter and decided I would take on issues that she feels should be addressed in my writing.
Author Interview Qn 1: Can you tell us more about your book What is it about?
This is a poetry style children’s book that is geared toward younger readers. It describes the obstacles faced by girls who feel they may not fit in because of hair texture.
The book hopes to teach us that we should celebrate everyone no matter their differences.
