About the Book
It has been two years since the Ninety Minute War, the fall of Utu, and the rise of the Awakened, and the Sol system enters a state of relative peace. The Human species, no longer confined to the caste system of Drone, Enforcer, and Overlord has now begun to revert to a more individualist society. Deep within the cavernous mega-cities of Mars, an Agent from one of the Great Temples is searching for a long-lost relic of Ole Earth. Its contents are unknown, it’s making now long forgotten, but only one thing is certain, it exists. Far from the Martian underworld, the Jupiter Sector flourishes under the watchful rule of the Liberator of Sol. Her divine leadership and mastery of cybernetic and archaeogenetic technologies have granted them near-total dominance as the last remaining superpower. The old order is now a bitter memory, the new order is just beginning to set in motion its plans for the coming centuries, and millennia after, for all Mankind. As the dust now settles, and the people flourish, something lurks in the shadows. A cabal of sinister making and maleficent agenda is emerging. While some things change others stay the same. The sands of time are trickling away as the hour grows late. From beneath the Martian dunes, the mega-cities of Titan, and the viaducts of Ganymede, a cabal of their own is forming to reverse the progress made since then.
About the Author
I am an eccentric individual who delves into extremes. I have lived a rough life without a family or many prospects for anything else. Over time I learned to depend on myself, and to stop caring what others think, since then when I was 21 to 26 I have become happy for the first time in my entire life. I am an artist, an archer, and a writer, and I love nature.
Qn 1: Can you tell us more about your book What is it about?
Saturnine is the sequel to Jovian in the Eclipse Series. Satunine picks up two years after the end of the first book. The world setting of Eclipse is a what-if of our current events five centuries into the future. In order to write this I had to change the timeline of our world and speed things up. Syria in 07 instead of 11, Ukraine in 2019 instead of 2022, and so on. It is a world in which the Earth was eventually laid to waste via a nuclear exchange between NATO and the Shanghai Pact. Russia hit Ukraine, China hit Taiwan, Iran hit Israel through Syria, etc. I basically took our current world and cracked it up to 11 and made it as severe as I could. Luckily in real life, none of these things played out as they did in my world, but that’s not to say it couldn’t have, because we have come too close too often in the past five or so odd years. Without spoiling too much the old order of the East and West formed interplanetary bodies called Sectors wherein they created this new order. The East became Venus and Saturn, Russia, and China. The West such as the Artemis Accords and NATO became the Jupiter Sector and Luna. Both sides are more or less controlled by the same elites. Kuniko Ishikawa in the first book usurps control and basically averts a planetary genocide which was to usher in this new era of total control. Because of that she kept what she killed and became the new de facto ruler of the Solar system. In Saturnine we see the results of that, and her new regime, and the desperation of the planets. Kuniko is a ruthless woman who is free to manifest her will inter reality via her charisma and her fortitude. An ex-Special Forces Operator, and the daughter of one of the elites, like many of her kind the Awakened, she was in stasis for four centuries so her culture and way of thinking is that of the 21st Century not the current. Because of this, she understands with not only foresight but objective fact what went wrong and why. Hence why she has planned to stop this war before it happens. In Saturnine we have an incredible atmosphere of grim-dark transgressive art, which is my genre of fiction, not very common, but take Fight Club, Blade Runner, Warhammer, Clive Barker, etc. This is a work that was meant to be a graphic novel, but my team and I opted for illustrations instead, It is a surreal viral world of immense magnitude and majesty. And perhaps one day, it could be this way, just not dystopian.
Qn 2: Who do you think would be interested in this book, is it directed at any particular market?
Not particularly. My audience based on data and sales is consistently diverse. We have fans from Berea Kentucky to Los Angeles. We have everyone. We have every race ethnicity gender identity and sexual orientation. My books reflect that as well, Humanity is varied, and it could be represented that way. My biggest fans are my creative team, ALL are female, empowered, single, and bisexual. I don’t know what that says about my book but yeah. One is an ex-stripper and current digital artist, another is a professional photographer and mother, and all five of my people are varied. One who will be doing the audio work is a vocalist in a metal band in North Carolina. My main creative muse is Erica who is in the cyber security field.
Qn 3: Out of all the books in the world, and all the authors, which are your favourite and why?
I have to name three of each. My favorite author is Clive Barker, next is Harlan Ellison, and Cormac McCarthy. My favorite three books are The Prince, Dead Sky Black Sun, and Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. I have always been drawn to grim dark themes, and as I mentioned transgressive surrealist art forms. Anything that has I am a fan, but as for the top three books and authors it has to go to these incredible artists.
Qn 4: What guidance would you offer to someone new, or trying to enhance their writing?
Never give up and learn to manifest your will into reality.

Qn 6: To fully enjoy your new book, would readers need to read book 1 in your series?
I recommend you read Jovian to fully appreciate Saturnine, but it is not necessary.
Qn 7: what is the elevator pitch of your book series?
Honestly, I don’t know! I have had those kinda moments, and it’s so rich and in-depth it just makes people wanna read it.
Qn 8: You say you have an immense understanding of the world’s current geopolitical environment. Do you reference this in your work, and if you could, what guidance would you give to world leaders today?
I do not reference directly in my books but the reader I’m sure will notice some and correlate them. Honestly, there are too many to name or pick from, but Cacatlysm the prequel coming out later this year is VERY direct and blatant, Due to how controversial that will be I changed names, etc. But it’s obvious when I say “Vladimir the Great” I mean Putin. My advice for world leaders is to stop being greed-based and represent their people, not themselves. That’s a theme in my Series is the inner-self compared to the masses, which I blatantly say in Saturnine Eclipse.
Qn 9: Your reader base is diverse, like the characters in your books. How do you create characters that support inclusion and diversity?
I create characters as composites based on the thousands I have met in my life. Akuma, Ishie, Kuniko, Crux, all of them, they are all people I have met. Crux is Carribean and practices Santeria and Voodoo. Kuniko is a Japanese American whose father is a tech mogul. I take bits n pieces from dozens and make them all come together. Honestly, Crux was directly inspired by the song Ain’t Goin’ Out Like That by Cyrpess Hill, I took that and went this is popping off soo many memories. I used to work at a gas station so you can imagine all the sorts I met there.
Qn 10: What do you plan to work on next?
Write! A writer writes always. I have as I mentioned the prequel coming out, Pain, Halcyon, and others. All are very unique and share nothing in common with one another except how diverse myriad and unique they all are. Also, the theme that all my books have without exception, the lead is a strong empowered woman. I will never change that. My Warhammer fiction was that way and its stuck ever since. Pain is pure grit and whiskey, blood, so grimace. Haclyon is very lighthearted and full of warmth and doesn’t take itself seriously, Pain doesn’t either, but Haclyon is so much fun. The other ones are a mix of serious and light. One will be set in Lousiana, another in Los Angeles. The LA one is currently the best sonically and has become personal to me for whatever reason. The Louisiana one will take place all over the world and is a surrealist horror that will span over a century. It involves Cain from the Old Testament, I won’t spoil it. The LA one is again a composite of people I’ve met from SoCal over the past ten years. It’s just so raw and if anything is like a slice of avocado on wheat toast cruising down Imperial Highway in a Coupe, it’s great.
