About the Author
Natalie P. Jenkins is an award-winning author from Salyersville, Kentucky. She has written two books, a memoir “Fourteen Day Fiancé” and a novel “After The Storm” set to be released in December of 2020.
Natalie is a professionally trained writer, with many years of experience. She began her career in 2015 by translating books into French and Spanish, most notably her translation of “How To Be Filled With The Holy Spirit” by famed Christian Author A.W. Tozer.
Qn 1: Can you tell us more about your book What is it about?
My Book After The Storm is a love story, based upon my own real-life experience. The story follows a Christian woman who loses her fiancé on the day she gets her wedding dress, then finding the strength to move forward leading to her meeting the new love she always dreamed of.
Qn 2: Who do you think would be interested in this book, is it directed at any particular market?
This book is perfect for one who likes a good love story. It’s also a very encouraging and uplifting story, so I recommend this anyone who is feeling down or looking for a bit of inspiration.
Qn 3: Out of all the books in the world, and all the authors, which are your favourite and why?
My favourite book of all time is Where The Crawdads Sing by Delia Owens. However, my favourite author is C.S. Lewis. I really like his writing style and have read many of his books.
Qn 4: What guidance would you offer to someone new, or trying to enhance their writing?
The best advice I could offer to anyone new to writing would be first, to never give up and secondly, edit your manuscript. Whether you’re looking at a traditional published or to become self-published, always have your manuscript well edited.
