About the Author

Peter Kanzler creates collections of books with the original texts from Locke, Hobbes, Rousseau, Machiavelli and other writers that shaped our understanding of civil law, basic rights and social theory. All his collections come at a very low price point, this is why he is frequented by students of politics, philosophy and international relations around the world.

Qn 1: Can you tell us more about your book What is it about?

The work was neatly cleaned and assembled by me in Jeannette, Pennsylvania, to help students around the world by reducing the general cost of education. The idea to assemble the collection with all the great works that are studied in any International Relations course, namely Hobbes, Locke, Rousseau, Machiavelli and then the US Constitution, came to me when I realized that there are students that do not get help from their parents. But at the same time, we disavow ebooks for study purposes.

Qn 2: Who do you think would be interested in this book, is it directed at any particular market?

The Peter Kanzler Collection is directed at students of politics, philosophy or international relations in the United States of America. But my books get purchased a lot overseas because people want to understand the nation of the USA and its constitution.

Qn 3: Out of all the books in the world, and all the authors, which are your favourite and why?

Obviously my answer will be the contents of the book in my hands:

The Prince (1532) by Niccolo Machiavelli

The Leviathan (1651) by Thomas Hobbes

The Two Treatises of Government (1689) by John Locke

The Social Contract (1762) by Jean-Jacques Rousseau

The Constitution of Pennsylvania (1776) by The Founding Fathers of the United States of America

Those gentlemen represent the most important thinkers of our civilization and constitution.

Qn 4: What guidance would you offer to someone new, or trying to enhance their writing?

Philosophers and political scientists should reduce overall consumption and seek quiet places to live.

Qn 5: Where can our readers find out more about you, do you have a website, or a way to be contacted?
