About the Book

The Magical Train (Aarthscape) by Aaron Alberto
Join Lautaro Vacas, a pilot who ends up in a mysterious new world after being sucked in by The Bermuda Triangle while flying on his plane. There, he encounters a train conductor named, Emerson, who takes him on her life dealings. This leads to their paths being intertwined for the rest of the story when after going to a rock concert protest against the kingdom, they are ambushed into remaining together along with some other new-made friends. The pilot however needs to get back home and his plane is being held by the King’s knight army. Apparently, the pilot is in a kingdom called “Alnidor” within a magical world that is unlike anything of ours. This world is eternal and boundless but perilous and there appears to be a vague difference among its’ people as those who have developed high cognition/intuitive skills and those who have not. As the pilot goes on a train journey with his new-made friends to the kingdom’s castle to get his plane back, he learns about Alnidor’s culture, history and societal ways, all leading him up to encounter an alluring, vile twist!

Qn 1: Can you tell us more about your book, The Magical Train, what is it about?
It is about Lautaro Vacas, a pilot who ends up in a mysterious new world after being pulled in by The Bermuda Triangle while flying his plane.
Qn 2: Who do you think would be interested in this book, The Magical Train, is it directed at any particular market?
I wrote it with a wide audience in mind, sure it is of the fantasy genre, so it is geared towards those who like adventurous tales of magic. However, I am definite that there is a little of something for everyone.
Qn 3: Out of all the books in the world, and all the authors, which are your favourite and why?
My favourite author has to be Tolkien, he just had such a galactic mind as he wrote the Middle Earth tales so extensively, it is wonderful that he was able to relinquish himself to tell such epic fantasy tales. I am also currently reading other fantasy authors such as Tomi Adeyemi, Glen Cook, Maxym M. Martineau and wow do they have stories to tell!
Qn 4: What guidance would you offer to someone new, or trying to enhance their writing?
My guidance for someone who is a new writer is to go for it! Never be afraid to tell and write down whatever story you got going on in your head. It is a fun way to express yourself while sharing your inner expressionism with the world. You can only get better in your skill and craft, the more experience you get.
Qn 5: Where can our readers find out more about you, do you have a website, or a way to be contacted?
Readers can find more about me on the website where I got my original writing startup, Fanon Wiki, I wrote some pretty wacky stories there during my middle school and high school years under the username “Cakedude222”. Or if they want to just, in general, know more about me, they can google my name, Aaron Alberto, and follow me on social media. My Instagram handle is: @aarth.scape and my Twitter handle is: @Aar0nalberto
Qn 6: Can you tell us more about the magical world that the protagonist is pulled into. What is this world like?
The Magical World that the protagonist is pulled into is like everything you would hear in mythical stories around the world mixed in with everyday stuff that we do and enjoy…rockstars fighting off knightsman ?! You got it !!! Yes, that’s included as well.
Qn 7: Who or what does the protagonist meet in this strange new land and what role do they play in the protagonist’s new life?
The protagonist, Lautaro, meets an array of people during his journey, both good and bad! He primarily connects to a train conductor who leads him on a magical journey in the Kingdom of Alnidor in order to retrieve his aeroplane back! He also gets aid from a rockstar with some awesome magical abilities and a young man with some shrouded mystery surrounding him, yet very helpful as he goes on his way. He and his friends HOWEVER have to challenge the systemic evil that the King withholds in his nation to keep people down, as he sends off his knightsmen to personally get rid of Lautaro and his friends.
Qn 8: Will there be a sequel?
I am actually planning on extending this book and perhaps sending it out to a literary agent in the hopes that a publishing house will take me in. I have a sequel floating around my mind that I would love to get to write, however that factor will be decided upon if people really enjoyed this story or not, it’s all supply and demand. HOWEVER I did write a chapter or two of what I would like for Lautaro to do after this book, maybe he will go on some astrological journey ?!
Qn 9: One of your favourite authors is Tolkien, the creator of amazing worlds. How do you create a world that is believable and exciting for the reader?
You create a world that is believable and exciting by fleshing it out fully, introducing the cultures of it thoroughly by making the protagonist navigate whatever place he is in, to interact with its people and delve themselves into the eccentricities of it all! And just like Tolkein, it all has to be thoroughly written to let the reader get an attachment to the characters by letting them know their story and their purpose for pursuing the arc! There has to be a reason why the dragon is going after the protagonists beyond it being one immoral being, right?
Qn 10: What do you have planned next?
After I finished this book, I immediately started writing a time-travelling story based in Spain about The Lady of Elche taking some young people to medieval times as a form to protect them. It really was a blast writing it, as I merely did not expect The Lady of Elche to get such positive, whimsical feedback! As of right now, I am returning to writing- ready to write one final Amazon book, as I relinquish in what is next- a slasher/fantasy mashup surrounding the Rainbow Crow from Native American mythology ?! Yes, I can be that spontaneous !!! So stay tuned folks for what is next.
