My name is Ferleen Verneuil-Joseph.

I hail from the most Beautiful Caribbean Island named Saint Lucia, West Indies!

I love travelling and thus, lived in London for many years with my husband and two wonderful teenage boys.

In 2014, I moved to a European country named Poland!

I love meeting new people, travelling, socialising and communicating.

I am a very caring individual who solely focuses on the most Positive and good things in life.

I am an Early Years educator, TEFL Teacher, Special Needs specialist, with over 15 years of experience. I love working with children and young people.

I love writing and thus, write children’s reports and newsletters. I decided to try writing some children’s books as well in the process.

I’ve written two books including a children’s picture book with an awesome cover!

As a result of my positive thinking and Always being Hopeful, I decided to put together a book of ‘Inspirational Quotes’, to help families and people to keep their heads up when difficult situations arise!

A book of pure Inspiration and motivation, enabling you to get up, rise up and look forward to only the positive, rather than dwell on the negative.

The Children’s book is about Fera and her ‘Mama’, doing many positive things together, cooking, playing, eating, communicating and teaching her. Setting an example in including the multicultural community and embracing them!

It’s very Unfortunate that many individuals after they have fallen decided to just give up and give in, rather than to embrace and appreciate their mistakes, then use them to move forward positively.

Qn 1: Can you tell us more about your book What is it about?

Sure! My Books are about mainly Inspiration.
One Children’s book called: ‘My Wonderful Mama’. It’s basically about how ‘Fera’ shares her favourite moments of her delicate life with yet ‘ ‘Mama’, playing, cooking, reading, sharing, learning. Her mama also talks about the significance and importance of a multi-cultural community and various backgrounds around her child.
A second book is called: ‘So what if you have failed’!
Book of pure Inspiration and motivation, as a result of this pandemic issue I decided it was fitting to have written this book.
It is for people who have especially struggled, lost loved ones through Covid, depression, loss of jobs, Low-self esteem, Failure!
This book will wake you up to Boldness, courage, determination and embracing starting over with confidence and zeal.

Qn 2: Who do you think would be interested in this book, is it directed at any particular market?

Yes, my first book is pretty much ready and I think that Anyone who is experiencing stress, losses, you name it, teenagers into adults alike will benefit from my Inspirational book.

Qn 3: Out of all the books in the world, and all the authors, which are your favourite and why?

Nice one😊 The ‘Bible’ without a doubt! I depend on this Bible for my daily inspiration and wisdom. Followed by a few of Michelle Obama’s books – all because it’s mostly Motivates me and drive me to push forward
Few short stories here and there! They keep it simple?

Qn 4: What guidance would you offer to someone new, or trying to enhance their writing?

Firstly, write wherever you are comfortable, paper, notebook, laptop whatever, just write!
Don’t worry much about errors, that you will have, so keep writing and try to write down your thoughts every day.
Be Deliberate about writing at any time and later learn from your errors.
