‘Liaisons’ is a collection of Erotic chapters told by new and existing characters within the season one continuity.
The book is designed to not only be read on its own but to also enhance the reading experience of the other season 1 titles. This title doesn’t follow the start, middle and resolution model most fiction does but if you read behind the lines you’ll see a progression in a common narrative which is true to the other books. Enjoy these one-shot shorts, while learning more about some of the characters you may have formed questionable opinions about before. This book has more scenes of an intimate nature than any of our previous titles and should be avoided if you’re easily offended.
About the Author
I’m Derrick Andre. The Creative Director of the Literally Lovesick Series.
My process of creating characters is different from most authors. I tend to create a character, their story, their likes, dislikes and fears then hand them over to another writer to mould and make them unique. The idea being is I could create multiple stories within the same continuity with characters that look, sound and feel different on the page.
Qn 1: Can you tell us more about your book What is it about?
‘The Erotic Diary series – Liaisons’ is a Thrilling erotic anthology written by multiple authors. What makes it especially unique is the stories run in the same continuity, not only of each other but also the other titles in the Erotic Diary Series. Each author brings their own stories to life, revealing how their characters interweave with each other up until the book reaches its dramatic climax. Expect sex, lies, plots, deception as we pick up clues of what’s going on overall in the series.
Qn 2: Who do you think would be interested in this book, is it directed at any particular market?
Liaisons was designed to give fans of erotica a more thrilling dramatic read. This is for people who like clearing up the misty waters. Obviously, it’s still just a great erotica read but for those who like figuring out who did what and why this may be right up your street.
Qn 3: Out of all the books in the world, and all the authors, which are your favourite and why?
I’m a fan of Monica Belle’s books, not only because she got me into erotica but by the end of some of her titles some of the twists in the plots have left me stunned. Good erotica should make you feel things but to manipulate your own perceptions while reading is truly masterful.
Qn 4: What guidance would you offer to someone new, or trying to enhance their writing?
One of the most overlooked aspects of writing is the ability to keep your audience hooked. Take the time to be objective and try to identify reasons why your reader would still be compelled to read on.
