Qn 1: Can you tell us more about your book What is it about?

It’s about two underachieving witches who start out as friends then become enemies when one steals the other’s magical property. They find themselves in a load of trouble when Beatriz, the one who steals the property tries to form an alliance with a dangerous creature. Savanah finds out more than she bargains for while trying to get her property back and trying to stay alive in a very dangerous part of Forestdale.

Qn 2: Who do you think would be interested in this book, is it directed at any particular market?

Adults who like fantasy with magical realism, with a bit of humor, and danger with flirty, sassy adult characters in their twenties, and paranormal beings and a smidge of romance.

Qn 3: Out of all the books in the world, and all the authors, which are your favourite and why?

Oh my! I have read so many books as a former book blogger.I absolutely love indie fiction authors. They are the most underrated and missed over authors out there. You can see my reviews of quite a few on whoshereads.com/reviews

My favorite author is Christine Feehan, She is the reason for my love of vampires with her dark series
Steven King, Dean Koonts and Neil Gaiman because they are wonderful in their own rights.
There are a few lesser-known indie authors that I like but they are listed on the website Who She Reads.
I don’t blog on it anymore unless I am doing a review and only reviews that I can’t wait to share the book with my followers because it was such a great read.

Qn 4: What guidance would you offer to someone new, or trying to enhance their writing?

🖊Just keep writing.

You learn the more you read and write, so do both.

🖊When someone gives you negative feedback, step back from your work, take a day off then ask questions as you write.
What is so and so the character doing while this character is being attacked? What would your character say to the other if they were mad at them? What would they say or do to show how they feel
🖊When writing, especially if you have never taken formal lessons, read books similar to what you intend to write, start small.
🖊Practice writing star with short stories,
🖊Invest in a good editing app, even if it’s free it’s better than no editing at all.
🖋Take a different twist on a common theme or trope.
🖊Start marketing well before you are ready to publish.
🖊You need to be obsessed/in love/consumed with your writing if you expect the same reaction from readers
🖊 Marketing, writing and eventually publishing costs money. If you are lucky to get a publisher who will rep you then that’s the free dream.
🖊 Self-publishing means you do all the work yourself and pay for everything.
🖊Start your craft on a writing app so you can build an audience and gauge interest in what you are writing, join writing groups

I have zero knowledge if any of this will actually help.
