About the Author
Cindy Young, author of ” Pretty Comes in all Shapes and Shades,” is a school mental health counselor and a certified children’s life coach. She is driven by her passion to help kids become their best, both mentally and emotionally. In February 2022, she was featured in an article that explored the combination of counselling and life coaching to support mental health. Cindy continues to strive for better ways to help serve her clients and community.
Qn 1: Can you tell us more about your book What is it about?
My book ” Over the Bridge, There Is Love” is a book about grief. It is designed to help children healthily process grief.
Qn 2: Who do you think would be interested in this book, is it directed at any particular market?
I think anyone who has lost a loved one. While it is geared towards children, it includes the stages of grief that can help individuals of all ages.
Qn 3: Out of all the books in the world, and all the authors, which are your favourite and why?
Of all the books in the world, my favorite would probably be my very first book, “Pretty Comes in all Shapes and Shades.” The book embraces diversity, which is something I’m passionate about and also helps boost self-esteem.
Qn 4: What guidance would you offer to someone new, or trying to enhance their writing?
I would say write your story; there is someone who needs to hear it.
