About the Author
The Germ Book is Chrisann Zaubi’s first author-illustrator role. She has a long career in the fashion industry, designing prints and patterns for major sportswear brands. Her number one passion is illustration, which was her degree focus from the Columbus College of Art and Design. She is the illustrator of the Pacifairy series which encompasses 4 book titles. She has so much fun designing original games under her business, Studio Zowbi. Keep an eye out for more fun and unique products and books from her creative company!
Qn 1: Can you tell us more about your book What is it about?
The Germ book is a call to action book for kids written in a fun and engaging style. The colors and rhymes keep childrens attention long enough for them to learn key facts to safeguard them from germs in the world at large. Key points include washing your hands, covering your cough, and how to boost your immune system. It includes coloring pages and tear handy outs as well as a link to a hand washing song.
Qn 2: Who do you think would be interested in this book, is it directed at any particular market?
I think this book is great for every family with small children. It would also be helpful for school libraries, and doctor offices. It is for all children and adults too. Everyone can benefit from the information in this book.
Qn 3: Out of all the books in the world, and all the authors, which are your favourite and why?
J.R.R. Tolkein is the most influential author for me personally. I love the Lord of the rings. I am a big fan of fantasy works. I plan on writing some childrens fiction in the coming years.
Qn 4: What guidance would you offer to someone new, or trying to enhance their writing?
Whatever you do, follow your heart. Whatever you truly have passion for will be the fertilizer that makes your garden of verses grow.
