Alike Regardless – This is Where it Began by Yvener Duroseau @YvenerDuroseau

About the Book

The human race is unique!

Despite our many differences; religion, beliefs, race, skin colour, or personal prejudices, there is still one thing that holds our world together, which is ‘We are all human.’

However, we fail to see the beauty in the uniqueness of humankind, because we have been blinded by hate, bigotry, envy, and fear. We let hatred rule us, envy divides us, and fear keeps us from fixing the mess. But it is time to wake up and see that everyone was created equal, perfect, and no different.

People have been born into unequal circumstances, which often leads them to make choices, which may either be good or bad, but one thing remains. We are still the same regardless. You may be asking, ‘…how that can be?’

This book will help you discover how there are no differences.

Hello there! No matter your skin colour, race, gender, economic rank, sexual identity, or social status, we are human before anything else. In our diversities, we can still achieve oneness. Hatred may have ripped us apart, but there is still a way to mend the tear if only we can fix ourselves first, letting the uniqueness of the human race reflect inward and then to the outside, healing the human race. We should mend the tear and do it now! This book will be a guide.

• The book: Alike Regardless challenges humankind’s internalized division. I wrote this book to create a safe, productive space wherein I put onto paper my genuine passion for a more diverse and socially just world.
• For those who are listening to this podcast. I encourage you to grab a copy of my book. I advise you to approach this book with an open mind and heart. Some things you’ll read will be drastically different from what you’re used to. Be prepared to change your worldview, your way of thinking. Be willing to learn new things and try out those new things. Albert Einstein says, “We cannot solve our problems with the same thinking we used when we created them,”

• If we move beyond where we are to a better world, we must think and see things differently. We must be willing and courageous enough to act differently because we can’t apply the same principles and expect different results.

• Here, we are talking about deeply ingrained habits that have had centuries to be fine-tuned for easy adaptation. It won’t be an easy journey—the hardest thing to do as a human is to change the habits we are already used to. But it is not an impossible task.

the book is for anyone who wants to see humanity from a different lens. Anyone in the field of diversity, equality, and inclusion.

I wrote the book to challenge the norm of division present in humankind. We’re all born equal because we’re all created equal.
