About the Author
I am a stay-at-home mom to a 17-month-old baby girl. I love to draw; it’s been my passion for as long as I can remember. I just got into the world of coloring books, so I am very much still learning.
Qn 1: Can you tell us more about your book? What is it about?
This is my first coloring book, which I dedicated to my first and only daughter because we’re in the phase of learning our ABCS. I am very proud of it. It took a long time because toddlers are very time-consuming, but I wouldn’t have it any other way. I’m a stay-at-home mom trying to pursue a career as an author, and this isn’t going to be my last one!
Unfortunately, when I got my book proofread for spelling errors, they skipped V, so there is a little spelling error. I know it’s spelled vegetables 😩
Qn 2: Who do you think would be interested in this book, is it directed at any particular market?
This is a perfect book for other children who are learning their ABCs, although it’s for everyone who likes food and animals. It’s a fun little coloring book that’s also perfect for car rides to keep the little ones happy!
Qn 3: Out of all the books in the world, and all the authors, which are your favourite and why?
I really enjoy Eric Carle’s work, I grew up reading him. I’m very fond of the very hungry caterpillar, brown bear, brown bear and the mixed-up chameleon. Of course, my daughter has the same books!
Qn 4: What guidance would you offer to someone new, or trying to enhance their writing?
All I can say is don’t give up if you are truly passionate about it and work at it you can succeed, but again I’m just starting myself, so all I can do is try to pray and promote 🙂
