A young teacher visiting Japan, she is taken off guard when Riku sweeps in to protect her from a gang of street thugs. Feeling obligated, she invites him to dinner to show her appreciation. It should have ended there, but a sinister man wants Riku dead and will stop at nothing to achieve this.
He deploys his best people to hunt Riku, and now Natasha, down. It is a deadly game of cat and mouse neither is sure they can survive. Somewhere along the way, they discover hidden truths and come to understand that the heart wants what it wants.

About the Author
Leebrina Pagdilao is an educator and writer who runs her own business by day and is an author in her spare time.
Today, Leebrina lives in California with her husband. In her free time, she enjoys creating stories, watching musicals and plays, traveling, and shopping. She has also devoted some of her time to volunteering and regularly donates items to charity.
One of her great loves is travel, and she has been lucky enough to travel as far afield as Mexico, London, France, Scotland and Ireland, immersing herself in the diverse cultures, customs, and food.
Leebrina’s desire is to spread true love and happiness through her books, helping people find it outside of their narrow beliefs, ideas, and circles. As an African-American woman who has been married to her Asian husband for 11 years, she knows exactly the sort of challenges people face as well as unlimited happiness but also that anything is possible.
Qn 1: Can you tell us more about your book What is it about?
The Assassin’s Beauty is the tale of a Japanese Ninja falling for an African-American teacher visiting Japan. As they are total opposites, they do not like each other at first but eventually, fall in love by a chance encounter.
Qn 2: Who do you think would be interested in this book, is it directed at any particular market?
I think that anyone interested in romance, love, and inspiration will be interested in this book as well as fans of martial arts and ninjas.
It is not directed at any particular market.
Qn 3: Out of all the books in the world, and all the authors, which are your favourite and why?
I would have to say my favorite book is The Assassin’s Beauty because it lead me back to my love and passion of creating and writing stories that I enjoy reading after thirty-plus years.
Qn 4: What guidance would you offer to someone new, or trying to enhance their writing?
Brainstorm worry-free and without limitations, it helps get out all of the ideas instead of having them lost due to wasting time on grammatical corrections.
