About the Book
Ovasta Kaiser is a woman who had everything–a successful career at a hospital, a handsome and loving neurosurgeon for a fiancé, and a friendship which had lasted for more than two decades. But everything changed in one instance when she was victimized, an act that would forever alter the course of her life. When the legal system fails her, Ovasta decides to serve her own form of justice. Unfortunately, her desire for revenge leads her down a very dark path, especially when her assailants make an attempt on her life in order to keep her quiet.
About the Author
Alisa A. Murray is an author and a poet. She has a Master of Science in Social Administration from Case Western Reserve University. Currently, she works for the public transportation system in her area teaching people with both mental and physical disabilities how to ride public transportation. She has one daughter and resides in Northeast Ohio
Qn 1: Can you tell us more about your book What is it about?
My book is called Vengeance Required. It reads like a Lifetime movie. It is about a woman who has everything. A great career, fiancée, and wonderful friendship. But that all changes when a crime is committed against her and she doesn’t feel like the police have handled it properly. I like to ask the question “what do you do when defeat is not an option?”
Qn 2: Who do you think would be interested in this book, is it directed at any particular market?
Vengeance Required is an entertaining, easy to read book full of twists and turns. If you like strong female leads, thrilling plots, suspense and mystery, I believe you’ll love it.
Qn 3: Out of all the books in the world, and all the authors, which are your favourite and why?
I like romance and mystery. I would love to have met Agatha Christie or Dorothy Garlock. Sometimes I read their books for inspiration. I also like Lisa Jackson. She has a get mixture of romance, mystery, and suspense.
Qn 4: What guidance would you offer to someone new, or trying to enhance their writing?
First, decide exactly what it is you want to write about. Fiction? Non-fiction? I actually had an idea in my head and then started with an outline. If outlines don’t work for you, try picking a topic and just start writing. That may work better. Secondly, set aside time each day to write something even if you have to get up earlier to do it. The more you work on your project the easier it will get.
