About the Author
Irma Hersel is a bilingual children’s author and illustrator based in California. She creates heartwarming stories that celebrate culture, family, and curiosity through the eyes of young explorers. Her award-winning debut, Where Nopalitos Grow, introduced readers to Roberto and his Abuela on a journey of discovery and tradition. Her newly released book, Where Chocolate Grows: A Sweet Journey of Curiosity and Discovery, continues to inspire children to learn about the world through imagination, culture, and bilingual storytelling. When she’s not writing, Irma enjoys gardening, art, hiking , thrifting, and sharing her love of nature and community with young readers.
