About the Book
Caleb is a charismatic yet troubled 18-year-old who carries the scars of bullying and family abuse. Despite being complimented and admired, he struggles with self-worth, hiding his pain from everyone, including his three best friends. Deep down, he yearns for someone to love him for his looks, not just his personality. Caleb finds solace in the bond with his younger brother, Toby, whom he would do anything to protect.
This poignant tale explores profound lessons: don’t measure yourself against others; strive to better your past self. Celebrate your uniqueness and lift those who are made to feel small. Cherish what you have, and recognize the negativity you’ve escaped. Break free from the control of those who give little in return.
Caleb’s ultimate act of love and sacrifice leaves a lasting legacy, weaving beauty from tragedy in a garden of roses, where he finally finds the beauty he always sought. An inspiring reminder that in lifting others, we rise.

About the Author
My name is Yousef Alharban. I am a doctor working on getting my specialty in family medicine.
I am a December Sagittarius.
I wrote this book because I want to discuss topics that are considered taboo in this day and age. There is some improvement and acceptance in the mental health side, and therapy side, and I would like to improve that. However, there are also many people who are struggling with love because of how they look. The cliché of inner beauty works sure, but before most of us get to others and into that inner beauty we are judged by our looks, and our physicality. So facts are looks and physical beauty are more important than we give it credit for.
I hope to relate to people who are struggling with these things, and to show them that there are others out there just like them.
