About the Book

How far would they go to become God?

When Levi is thrown into the Abyss after suffering from Bloodlust, the Divine Throne orders the other ehols to stop using their Sẹda, the unique power each ehol awakens with.

The sudden decision leaves them angry—it’s their only shot at obtaining a Divine Seat. The more one has, the closer he is to becoming God. But when Kireh begins to unravel secrets about Bry, the Throne’s ambassador, the ehols begin to distrust the government. They want to have a Seat, and they’ll do anything to get it, even if it means suffering the same fate Levi did.

But they question if it’s really worth the pain. That is until they begin to uncover more secrets, and the more they learn, the stronger their lust for power grows…

About the Author

R. N. Headlam is a fashion designer and author who recently graduated from the Fashion Institute of Technology. She was born in Jamaica, but grew up in the British Virgin Islands, where she began writing. Her love for reading and illustration has inspired many of her stories and characters. In her high school years, she began writing fan-fic novels that became very popular among her peers. Currently, she has self-published two books and is in the process of starting a brand-new series geared toward young fashionistas who enjoy urban fantasy.

Qn 1: Can you tell us more about your book What is it about?

The Bloodlust Power is the first book in my debut series, Kingdoms of Yah, which was tremendously inspired by my interest in metaphysics and the scientific concept of a multiverse. The Bloodlust Power combines my love for fantasy and sci-fi fiction with my cultural background as a woman of Afro-Caribbean descent and is inspired by my love for history, spirituality, and culture.

Qn 2: Who do you think would be interested in this book, is it directed at any particular market?

Readers who enjoy world-building, fantasy, and immersive, character-driven stories would love The Bloodlust Power. Readers especially looking to broaden their pallet with more than just the typical Medieval-era fantasy story or readers wanting fantasy content with more sci-fi elements will also enjoy my book.

Qn 3: Out of all the books in the world, and all the authors, which are your favourite and why?

Currently, I’m enjoying contemporary-based books and have recently come to enjoy House of Salt and Sorrows by Erin A. Craig.

I also enjoy the writing of fellow indie-author N. R. Mayfield who writes light horror fiction.

Qn 4: What guidance would you offer to someone new, or trying to enhance their writing?

I would tell any new author to always keep writing, no matter what. The most important item any upcoming writer should invest in is a writing journal. For me, having a writing journal was the foundation of many of my writing projects including my debut series.

Qn 5: Where can our readers find out more about you, do you have a website, or a way to be contacted?

Readers can find me via my website thepinkravyn.com and they can get more of my writing content via my blog site thepinkravynwrites.wordpress.com
