About the Author
Joshua Goodson: A newly minted author of children’s books aiming to shape kids into advocates for MOTHER EARTH!
Qn 1: Can you tell us more about your book What is it about?
I wrote this book to teach children about the life cycle of a tree and how important trees are for our survival as humans. I also wanted to use trees as a metaphor for our life as humans and how trees live parallel to our lives in many ways.
Qn 2: Who do you think would be interested in this book, is it directed at any particular market?
I think kids from 3 to about 8 years old are the children ages that I would buy this book for, but also for adults that read this to this book to the kids in their life to get inspired to go out and hug a tree.
Qn 3: Out of all the books in the world, and all the authors, which are your favourite and why?
I love lots of books and authors but recently I have been enjoying Don Miguel Ruiz and the ancient wisdom of the Toltecs. His books are simple yet packed with incredible depth and meaning akin to what I am trying to do with kids and trees.
Qn 4: What guidance would you offer to someone new, or trying to enhance their writing?
Just keep writing, believe in yourself, your message and don’t give up.
