About the Book
Itty Bitty Betty is the first book in a fun series of books that showcase an adorable little girl that goes on an adventure with her kitty. Itty Bitty is a character that children would want to root for because her stories are relatable with valuable lessons to learn. My debut book Itty Bitty Betty and the cookies features beautiful illustrations and fun scenes that are created to grab a little readers attention. Itty is a curious and determined character that I wish I knew when I was younger. Now more than ever it is important to expose children different cultures and were excited to invite Itty Bitty and her mom into your homes, with this series as Itty Bitty Betty learns lessons of patience, courage and positivity with the fluff of her sweet kitty.

Qn 1: Can you tell us more about your book What is it about?
The book is about an adorable little girl who learns a lesson in patience. She recruits her kitty to help her go on a great adventure without her mom knowing and learns that somethings we desire require much more than just a desire. The book releases April 10th on Amazon. You can preorder at
Qn 2: Who do you think would be interested in this book, is it directed at any particular market?
The book is directed at children ages 0 -8 who love fun adventures. I believe any child with an imagination will be able to envision the joy found within the pages. As the story unfolds children will be able to travel along with each page and enjoy the journey with this audacious girl and her brown kitty.
Qn 3: Out of all the books in the world, and all the authors, which are your favourite and why?
To kill a mockingbird is my favorite book. I can actually relate to the characters in that story. The writing is superb, its a page turner and each time you read you want to go deeper. I liked the serenity of Maycomb and in the same breath I disliked its horrible moral compass. I loved Scout’s inquisitive nature, her blossoming romance with Dill, Jem’s pretense to be all grown up and I was in awe of how Atticus had a unique answer for everything. Ive faced my own adversity and that book gave me some hope. I remember where I was the first time I read it. I admire how Atticus taught Scout about controlling her negative emotions, practicing perspective and why it’s important to defend the innocent. I love how he leads by example and even when he faced adversity maintained his composure.
Qn 4: What guidance would you offer to someone new, or trying to enhance their writing?
Read like a writer and keep writing the momentum will always pick up. Writing and being an author can be amazing and challenging in other moments, but when that book is done and you see what you worked so hard on come to life, its the most rewarding feeling ever. Don’t stop perfect your craft trust me it will all work out.
