I am a black belt in aikido, have a master’s degree in creative writing from Columbia University, and have a thriving psychotherapy practice in Burlington, Vermont.

My book is about how my journey in aikido brought me out of the depths of trauma that led to a mental breakdown to a place of joy, peace, mindfulness, and inspiration.
