The Hunt
Once upon a time in the City of Angels, a Kafkaesque character named R.K. was motoring along at a top rate of speed… zipping through the urban jungle of Sinclairian madness. When like a sudden nuclear flash, a group of soldiers in a squad car with the LAPD emblem on the door appeared; they were pointing, signalling with their stubby fingers for him to pull over. R.K. was not certain of their intentions; seeing that it was quite dark outside, he just sped away. That impulsive act only spurred, fueled the soldiers seething desire for the kill. R.K. held the pedal against the metal, as the car shot through the city street like a jackrabbit racing ahead of a coyote. But to no avail, because like a pack of wolves chasing their prey… they got stronger as the aromatic smell of blood filled their nostrils. R.K. slowed. Finally, R.K. and his friends were surrounded like a bunch of pioneers cowering (see R.K. was not alone) in their covered wagons; while hostile Indians circle them as one might see in a good old John Wayne B movie.
“Get out of the car, Mr Fox!,” yelled the soldier in charge.

Qn 1: Can you tell us more about your book, The Poetic Vibrations of a Matured Butterfly, What is it about?

It’s a journey that starts with the frontispiece. Ironically… Old school, right? If you skip one part of the book, you might miss the in your face twist. No pun intended. I designed this book expressively to make the reader pause and look at our World, and the oneness of things.

Qn 2: Who do you think would be interested in this book, The Poetic Vibrations of a Matured Butterfly, is it directed at any particular market?

If what I am about to say makes any sense, my book is for anyone willing to stare our World in the face and refrain from blinking. It was not created for the sensitive reader. More so, that empathetic reader.

Qn 3: Out of all the books in the world, and all the authors, which are your favourite and why?

The list is long, but surprisingly, one of my favourite writers is Henry Miller. I love his method of storytelling, linking philosophy, social commentary, spirituality, and his life all in one literary house with a bang.

Qn 4: What guidance would you offer to someone new, or trying to enhance their writing?

A simple mantra, just keep writing, creating, just keep writing. And be yourself, be forever your creative Self. Remember, there’s only one You.

Qn 5: Where can our readers find out more about you, do you have a website, or a way to be contacted?

No, I do not have a website. You can contact me at butterflybk012@gmail.com
