How Would You Survive?

The Incident, The Arrest, And Jail

About the Book

We are conditioned to take for granted the possibility of being arrested and even sent to jail where people from all social classes and professions (mothers, fathers, sons, and daughters) face the consequence of surviving in contained chaos. But what if it is you, a relative, or a friend that is either blindsided by accusations or is justly called to account for offences? “How Would You Survive?” confronts our tendencies, and mental and social conditions that keep juvenile treatment and adult correctional facilities thriving, and vividly illustrates a myriad of scenarios and personalities common to the arrest and jail experience that hopefully you or your loved one will never have to navigate.

Engaging chapters “Stop Thinking That They Can’t Come For You,” “Why You May Get Arrested For Dummies,” “Survival 101” and “Law & Order Special Victims” are some reader favorites creating contentious discussions in many book clubs, social forums, and Crime and Punishment discussions.
