About the Author
I was born in Chicago, raised in Dallas. I currently reside in the Bay Area. I am a storyteller, I always have been. I write novels, screenplays and create films.
Qn 1: Can you tell us more about your book, The Cleansing: Part One, What is it about?
Put simply this is a fictional book about the cycle of vengeance and how the enslavement of Africans in the late 1800s leads to a major genocidal event affecting the caucasian race centuries later. The act of genocide is called the cleansing by the African witch who inflicts her cruel act of revenge under the disguise of purifying the human race from evil. Instead she becomes the evil she wishes to eradicate.
Qn 2: Who do you think would be interested in this book, The Cleansing: Part One, is it directed at any particular market?
This story is for readers that love the horror genre, and are interested in compelling characters with unique conflicts with very familiar personality flaws. As humans we all experience a range of emotion and we often find ourselves dealing with difficult situations beyond our control. This is one of those stories.
Qn 3: What guidance would you offer to someone new, or trying to enhance their writing?
Read, read, read. This is the best advice I can offer to anyone wanting to become a stronger writer. I think it is particularly important that you read a variety of material in the genre you plan to write.
