Qn 1: Can you tell us more about your book What is it about?

Teenagers have very busy and confusing lives. Not all come from good or steady families. Notes from your grandfather tried to provide advice for growing up on a variety of common topics (anxiety, grades, relationships etc). The author shares some of his stories to show not everything is so important in the long run.

Qn 2: Who do you think would be interested in this book, is it directed at any particular market?

It would really be relevant for young and old, but it is written for teenagers as this is probably the most stressful and complicated part of life.

Qn 3: Out of all the books in the world, and all the authors, which are your favourite and why?

Well, I love Faulkner’s The Sound and the Fury and Shakepeare’s King Lear. I guess I like that these books look at the same issues from many perspectives.

Qn 4: What guidance would you offer to someone new, or trying to enhance their writing?

Be patient. Write and rewrite the text. It is difficult, but the text will get better.

Qn 5: Where can our readers find out more about you, do you have a website, or a way to be contacted?

My email is dougbbc@gmail.con. However, I am still setting up author pages.
