Qn 1: Can you tell us more about your book What is it about?

I have tried to explain ten different species of Octopi through a story. The ongoing stress, fear, grief, and uncertainty created by the covid have a huge impact on children’s behavior and mental health of some of the children globally. some of them are so scared that they are not ready to mingle with others including their cousins, and relatives also. That is why I took the theme of Cousins Day, thinking that this story might help the children to improve their social skills and interpersonal skills

Qn 2: Who do you think would be interested in this book, is it directed at any particular market?

I think this book will be of more interest to children who like picture books and ocean animals, especially Octopi.

It is directed towards children of the age group 6 years to 10 years.

Qn 3: Out of all the books in the world, and all the authors, which are your favourite and why?

When I was a little girl I used to read a lot of fairy tales from different parts of the countries among them I like the story of Cinderella written by Charles Perrault. I like that book because it has morals of forgiving others, kindness towards all, and never let bad things ruin your heart.

More than Fiction I like to read motivational books, science books, and spiritual books. I like Robin Sharma’s books, especially ‘The Monk who sold his Ferrari’. This book is a motivational self-help book that helps to find meaning in your life. I like ‘The Road less traveled’ book by M. Scott Peck. This is a spiritual classic and philosophical work on relationships, spiritual growth, and life’s meaning. ‘The Time Machine ‘ book by H.G.Wells is my other favorite book. It explains technology and progress, humans, Nature, and Universe, and also inequality and social class

Qn 4: What guidance would you offer to someone new, or trying to enhance their writing?

I would like to tell three main things for the upcoming authors ;

1) Never procrastinate, whenever you get some idea about writing start writing

2) Keep in mind what the readers expect from you

3) Accept criticism which will allow you to grow. You will get feedback. perspective and also new ideas by the critique.
