About the Author

K. L. Ramsey has always had a love for ministry. She started out at the tender age of 14 at her local church in North Carolina as a youth mentor and tutor. She is no stranger to helping people solve problems as she has been in consumer support and retention for 16 years. When she is not outdoors discovering new trails to hike, she is enjoying spending time nestled in the scenic mountains of Colorado, where she resides with her husband and children.

Qn 1: Can you tell us more about your book What is it about?

The baby steps devotional & infertility journal was created as a way to encourage my sister after enduring years of infertility. Sensing that her hope was lost and faith was waning, I set out each day to write her little “devotions” to encourage her. My desire was for her to learn to trust in Jesus, despite the dreadful diagnosis. Once she started reading and implementing what she learned in the book, it wasn’t long at all before she conceived her first child-yes, I said first. She now has five children after medical professionals told her that she would never conceive naturally. What a miracle!

This book is filled with biblical examples of women and men who faced infertility, how it affected them and the miracles that resulted from their courage to believe. I’ve sprinkled practical methods for stretching your faith, holding on to the promises of God and even included my sisters personal story as inspiration. The journal will help couples navigate the emotions and serve as an attestation to their growth through the journey.

Qn 2: Who do you think would be interested in this book, is it directed at any particular market?

Christian couples that struggle with infertility. Even if you have given up. God still performs miracles today. I saw it happen with my sister and I believe it can happen for anyone.

Qn 3: What guidance would you offer to someone new, or trying to enhance their writing?

I’d say: Make it personal. Writing is not a one-size-fits-all approach. You don’t have to have everything figured out or be overly meticulous in your writing or style. Just start where you are and figure it out along the way. As long as you have great content, you are halfway there.

Qn 4: Where can our readers find out more about you, do you have a website, or a way to be contacted?

I am currently working on a website separate from my personal social media pages, which will allow me to connect with my readers on a personal level, so be on the lookout for that. As of now the books can be purchased from Amazon.
