About the Author

Originating from London, I moved to Norfolk in my late twenties with a young family, and after attending university as a mature student, I spent most of my career teaching. However, it was always my dream to become an author, and enjoyed writing as a hobby for many years with a particular interest in murder and the criminal justice system. That was until lockdown freed me from all work-related responsibilities, and the opportunity to write my novel was there for the taking. It was a labour of love, but I enjoyed every single second of it and I’m already hard at work on the sequel.

Qn 1: Can you tell us more about your book What is it about?

Hunt for the Shepherd is a murder mystery that begins when a young girl is found dead beside railway tracks.

Urgent briefings are held, plans are made, and leads are followed by the serious crime squad. It is an immersive and gripping read as the investigation progresses, and with more bodies piling up along the way, the hunt is on for their prime suspect known only as The Shepherd.

This is truly a modern-day who-done-it and for the detectives, the investigation becomes a roller-coaster of triumphs and setbacks. For the reader, it will feel as if you are a fly on the wall, being given every opportunity to consider the evidence and make your own judgments. It is then imperative that this murderer is hunted down and apprehended before more young victims perish at his hands.
